#054 - Tape Stash, Creem, Vulfpeck Sells Out (Again)

You should check out our YouTube channel & let us know what you think! Onto the show…

Jay mentioned, back in #050, receiving a box of cassette tapes filled with selected tracks for his teenage ears to enjoy (this is called a mixtape). An astute listener (Jay's mom) discovered the aforementioned tapes and that's given birth to our newest segment "Tape Stash". Repeat thanks goes out to Michael Weddington for making the tapes & Mrs. Debbie Pflager for finding them.
Songs:
Sue Foley - Gone Blind
Radiohead - Faithless the Wonder Boy

Nick found a story in the NY Times about Creem Magazine, the self-proclaimed "Only Rock & Roll Magazine in America". It's a story from the early days of rock; chock-full of sex, drugs, fighting and excessive egos, but it made for a good conversation. [NY Times]
Song: Anderson .Paak - Lockdown

Greg brings us the latest news from the brilliant marketing minds of the band also known as Vulfpeck. This time around they've decided to auction off Track 10 of their upcoming album. What this actually means, how it'll work & why they're doing it are all topics discussed. It's quite a concept!
Song: Logic - Hit My Line
