#067 - Virtual Knotfest, “Viral or Eyeroll”: Round 3, NIИ RnR HoF

Knotfest is ON! Online that is. Nick discovered the festival, put on by Slipknot for the past 8 years, is going virtual amid the pandemic this year. How enjoyable is a metal festival from the comfort of your own home? We shall see, but the proceeds from the event are going to Musicares, a top notch non-profit helping musicians during the pandemic.
Song: Foo Fighters - “Shame Shame”

Ladies & Gentleman, welcome to Round 3 of your favorite game show, “Viral or Eyeroll” (A Greg Loman Production). Nick & Jay are tied with a win a piece, so there’s a lot on the line. Greg brings out his fresh batch of stories, and he’s really upped the difficulty.
Song: Mad Season - “Lifeless Dead”

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony aired on HBO this past Sunday. We covered our picks last year, and Jay wants to celebrate one of the inductees. Nine Inch Nails, whose only permanent member is composer and singer Trent Reznor, have been at it since 1989 & released their 10th & 11th studio albums this past March. Jay has always been a huge fan and we discuss Reznor’s style and impact. It’s a great discussion, and we close out the episode listening to some clips from the Hall of Fame presentation.
Song: Nine Inch Nails - “Everyday is Exactly the Same”

Have a great week everyone!
