#061 - Guests Revisited: Catch-Up With Keith | Weigh-In With Wayan

This week we decided to check in with two past guests to see how they’ve adapted & held up during the pandemic…but first, Nick had a song to kick things off… Fleet Foxes - Can I Believe You

Up first we have Keith Grasso, owner of Island Music Co., a musical instrument and gear shop in La Plata, MD. They are going strong, to say the least, & Keith has spent an impressive amount of time & energy making sure it stays that way. We discuss the uptick in music instrument sales and what Keith’s expecting in the months to come…hearing this guy describe pulling himself out of a funk when the shutdowns first started, and single-handedly run an entire store for months is incredibly inspiring. We hope you agree :-)
Song: Van Halen - Romeon Delight

Wayan Zoey has relocated to Portland since we last spoke with him. He weighs in on the future of live music, the inherent determination that musicians already possess to make a living in music and he shares some of his experiences in the past few months living in Portland. The guy is a wellspring of knowledge and experience and we really enjoyed the conversation.
Song: Butcher Brown - 1992

Both of these guys were inspiring to talk to and we’re really thankful they came on with us again. We hope everyone’s doing well and we’ll see you next week with a new very special guest.
